Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was inspired by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actor. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
