Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the movie. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has also become a renowned director of popular television programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever since.
