Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian and American artist and singer. Over 20 albums have been made available by her. DiFranco categorizes her music as folk-rock and alternative. However, it contains influences such as punk, hip-hop and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own record label in 1990.
