Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of the award-winning coverage by CNN of the presidential elections in 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional activities, like the negotiations for raising the federal debt ceiling and the super committee's discussions. Bolduan worked as an assignment reporter for general assignments. She covered such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision regarding Obamacare. Also, she covered the implementation of government stimulus programs in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007.
